Yaya Toure's plea for Messi to join Manchester City if he leaves Barcelona

The prospect of the double world player of the year making a sensatonal switch to the Etihad has been a dream for the Blues faithful

Yaya Toure wants Messi to join the Blues.

The prospect of the double world player of the year making a sensatonal switch to the Etihad has been a dream for the Blues faithful but the prospect of City shelling out a world record £100m for the Barca superstar has moved closer with Yaya going public.

He said on a French sports channel this evening: "If it's to come to Manchester City, I hope Messi can leave Barca"

Messi is reportedly unhappy at the Spanish giants under Gerardo Martino.
It has been reported today that he publicly criticised club vice-president Javier Faus.
Messi is said to have laid into Faus, claiming he "doesn't know anything about football."
He also said Faus "wants to manage Barcelona like a business, which it is not."
City, funded by Abu Dhabi's oil wealth, are one of the few clubs worldwide who could splash out for the Argentinan maestro... and meet his £200,000+ wage demands.

City have Barcelona connections with Ferran Soriano Txiki Begiristain, both former key figures at the Catalan club before taking up similar roles at Manchester City.

In the interview, he also made reference to Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho, saying "Mourinho is special, he takes everything on it and takes the pressure off his players."

He also said that Liverpool striker Suarez is an "exceptional shape", and said he enjoyed his time in Barcelona, saying: "It was exceptional 3 years in Barcelona , it was huge in 2009 we won everything."

Do You Know Who Said, "Joe Hart is World's Best Goalkeeper"?

Joe Hart has been hailed as the world's best goalkeeper by Wayne Rooney after a stunning performance kept Manchester City's Champions League hopes alive. The Bleacher Report wrote. Rooney said all this after Joe Hart showed a very wonderful play when his team met Dortmund yesterday. According to Bleacher Report , the Manchester United striker was quick to praise City 's No 1 - also his England team-mate - after Hart produced a series of world-class saves in a pulsating 1-1 draw with Borussia Dortmund at the Etihad Stadium. Although City also created a number of chances, Hart's performance kept them in the contest before Mario Balotelli snatched a first point in Group D with a contentious last-minute penalty. Hart denied the German champions on eight occasions and Rooney - whose club manager Sir Alex Ferguson was in the crowd - was one of many observers hugely impressed. Hart could do little to prevent Dortmund taking the lead jus...
