Ronaldo is a World Cup matchwinner - Reus

has stressed that Germany will be wary of matchwinner Cristiano Ronaldo when they face Portugal in the World Cup.

Joachim Low's men face the fellow Euro 2012 semi-finalists in their opening game of Group G hoping to gain an advantage ahead of further clashes with Ghana and USA.

Reus, who is featuring in his first World Cup this summer, stressed the quality of the Portugal captain and all-time top goalscorer and believes every tie in Brazil will be tough.

"Portugal are an extremely strong team, with an outstanding individual player: Cristiano Ronaldo" the Borussia Dortmund attacker said in a new self-interview to mark the launch of PUMA Tricks. "He can decide a match on his own.

"USA coach Jurgen Klinsmann has lots of experience and he has built a solid team. As we saw at the World Cup in 2006 [when he coached Germany to the semis], he can take teams far in the tournament.

"There won't be an easy opponent."

Reus is in contention to be a key player in the starting XI for Germany this summer and insists he always had faith that he could feature in the tournament and play a role in winning the trophy.

"Yes, of course [I always believed I'd play in the World Cup], you have to believe in yourself," the German added. "It's vital not just in football but in day-to-day life.

"You also need a bit of luck, you need talent and determination. But you definitely need belief, that's for sure. It's my first World Cup so I'm feeling really motivated. I'm eager to play a big part and start as many games as possible."

Reus is among a number of global superstars who will be sporting the new PUMA Tricks boots in Brazil this summer. Per GOAL.com

To finish the season he conceded just a single goal in his last four matches. 23. Mariano Andujar, Catania Only Parma managed ...

The Happy Di Matteo..!

Roberto Di Matteo watched his attacking stars inspire a 5-4 extra-time victory over Manchester United and he preferred to savour a second night of high-scoring league cup thrills rather than focus on "the other stuff" in football. The Chelsea manager did not need to spell out what he meant, in the wake of the league fixture against United on Sunday, when his team's controversial 3-2 home defeat was followed by the allegation that the referee Mark Clattenburg had racially abused Mikel John Obi. There had also been spite in the stands. Di Matteo focused on the flair and spirit that his team had shown here, when they came from behind three times to force the extra period, with the substitute Eden Hazard scoring from the penalty spot with the very last kick of normal time. Hazard's quick feet and sumptuous reverse pass created what proved to be the decisive fifth goal late in extra-time for Ramires. "Over the last two days we have seen...

I’m not trying to complain, but it’s been a process full of challenges.” Photo source: omg INSIDER & Yahoo The 36-year-old mama added that the pressure to shed the baby weight at record speed is something that she feels the previous generations didn't face.
