Hugo Lloris has been the best goalkeeper in the Premier League this season, new research has revealed. The Football Observatory have found that Lloris is statistically the best keeper in the division and the seventh best in Europe. All of the goalkeepers of the big-five leagues in Europe - England, France, Germany, Italy and Spain - were ranked based on a number of key indicators such as minutes per goal conceded, percentage of shots saved and saves per match. Manuel Neuer came out on top followed by Jan Oblak of Atletico Madrid and Gianluigi Buffon of Juventus.
