At Last Drake Graduates From High School

It’s hard being a teenage celebrity. The paparazzi, the screaming fans, the inability to graduate from high school. It’s all so difficult, which is why we can imagine that it’s gratifying for celebs when they finally receive that elusive high school diploma. The latest famous person to be awarded said diploma is Drake, who, at 25, has officially graduated high school.

The rapper joined Degrassi at age 15 and never finished high school. But this week, Drake tweeted that he’s finally finished high school. Drake wrote, “97% on my final exam. 88% in the course. One of the greatest feelings in my entire life. As of tonight I have graduated high school… Thank you to my teacher Kim Janzen for spending the last 5 months working tirelessly with me!! OVO SOUND.”
.
This is big news for the rapper, who left Toronto’s Forest Hill Collegiate Institute for Degrassi, which he has said was motivated by a desire to help his family. Drake told Complex last year, “My mother was very sick. We were poor, like broke. The only money I had coming in was off of Canadian TV, which isn’t that much money when you break it down… A season of Canadian television is under a teacher’s salary, I’ll tell you that much.”
.
Drake isn’t the only celeb to graduate high school late. Justin Bieber was awarded his high school diploma earlier this year, although not quite late since he’s only 18. The singer missed out on his graduation ceremony due to the commitments of, you know, being famous but did get a cap and gown on Ellen. The real winner is actor Nolan Gould, the 13-year-old star of Modern Family, who graduated high school recently and is already taking college classes. Top that, Drake.

You can leave your congratulations for the rapper in the comments!

The Happy Di Matteo..!

Roberto Di Matteo watched his attacking stars inspire a 5-4 extra-time victory over Manchester United and he preferred to savour a second night of high-scoring league cup thrills rather than focus on "the other stuff" in football. The Chelsea manager did not need to spell out what he meant, in the wake of the league fixture against United on Sunday, when his team's controversial 3-2 home defeat was followed by the allegation that the referee Mark Clattenburg had racially abused Mikel John Obi. There had also been spite in the stands. Di Matteo focused on the flair and spirit that his team had shown here, when they came from behind three times to force the extra period, with the substitute Eden Hazard scoring from the penalty spot with the very last kick of normal time. Hazard's quick feet and sumptuous reverse pass created what proved to be the decisive fifth goal late in extra-time for Ramires. "Over the last two days we have seen...

But the “Hips Don’t Lie” singer reveals that dropping the pounds was no cake walk. While promoting “The Voice” in Pasadena, California, on Monday, the blond bombshell revealed, "[Losing baby weight] is the only thing that’s been a little stressful … I knew I had to come back here to do ‘The Voice’ two months after I had delivered a baby. I didn’t have my four months of maternity like every woman on Earth has. I’m not trying to complain, but it’s been a process full of challenges.” Photo source: omg INSIDER & Yahoo The 36-year-old mama added that the pressure to shed the baby weight at record speed is something that she feels the previous generations didn't face.
