He is the one who was in charge during Chelsea v Manchester United match last Sunday. He was faced with so many decisions and did not hesitate to decide whenever he was obligated to. I mean, no one saw him hesitating but went straight to deciding whenever he felt like it was according to the FIFA football rules.
The big issue was when he sent off Fernando Torres after he tried to cheat. Torres fell down "dived" looking for a free kick and was awarded a second yellow card which was really accordingly, and automatically Mr. Clattenburg, according to the FIFA rules, not his, had to give him a red card because that is what the rules say, and that is what all the referees do.
