Church commends JK for advocating peace

Per THE GUARDIAN REPORTER

The World Seventh Day Adventist (SDA) has applauded Tanzania for ensuring peace and for supporting similar efforts in other countries within East and central Africa.

A press statement issued by the Directorate of Presidential Communications says the church commends the government for providing freedom of worship that allows all to live according to their beliefs.
The remarks were given yesterday by SDA World Leader Dr Ted Wilson during the General Conference of the Seventh Adventist Church that was held at the national stadium in Dar es Salaam on Saturday and where Dr Wilson was accompanied by other SDA leaders from at least eleven countries.
“I wish to congratulate you for enhancing peace in your country and other African countries,” he told President Jakaya Kikwete during talks at the State House in Dar es Salaam.
He said the history and contribution of President Kikwete on fighting for peace in Africa will always be remembered.
“You have done a great job in Tanzania and Africa…to us having peace is the most important thing because it allows us to continue preaching the word of God.”
Dr Wilson and his fellow leaders were in the country to participate in the ‘Blessings in Mission East and Central Africa’ conference that attracted more than 40,000 people from within and outside the country.

Do You Know Who Said, "Joe Hart is World's Best Goalkeeper"?

Joe Hart has been hailed as the world's best goalkeeper by Wayne Rooney after a stunning performance kept Manchester City's Champions League hopes alive. The Bleacher Report wrote. Rooney said all this after Joe Hart showed a very wonderful play when his team met Dortmund yesterday. According to Bleacher Report , the Manchester United striker was quick to praise City 's No 1 - also his England team-mate - after Hart produced a series of world-class saves in a pulsating 1-1 draw with Borussia Dortmund at the Etihad Stadium. Although City also created a number of chances, Hart's performance kept them in the contest before Mario Balotelli snatched a first point in Group D with a contentious last-minute penalty. Hart denied the German champions on eight occasions and Rooney - whose club manager Sir Alex Ferguson was in the crowd - was one of many observers hugely impressed. Hart could do little to prevent Dortmund taking the lead jus...
