MOURINHO: 'FELLAINI GIVES US QUALITY'

Mourinho: 'Fellaini gives us quality'   José Mourinho has hailed the impact of Marouane Fellaini following Manchester United's 2-1 win over Watford on Saturday night.  Fellaini made his return to the side following injury, and was instrumental in both goals, as well as playing a key role in front of the defence.  'We made defensive mistakes against Brighton and Tottenham. Against Brighton, we didn't deserve to win.' Mourinho said after the match.  'Then we go to two difficult matches, difficult stadiums. Burnley and Watford, and I thought my central defenders needed somebody to support them and give them the first wall of physicality.  'But Marouane gives us more than that. He gives us quality and simplicity. He is playing simple and well. I am really happy for Marouane.  'I am very happy. With the points, with the spirit. I feel a bit frustrated because we had everything in the first half to kill the game.'

MOURINHO: 'THE ONLY BAD THING ABOUT SMALLING IS HIS HAIR'

Mourinho: 'The only bad thing about Smalling is his hair'  Chris Smalling is in no danger of getting the chop after his Watford performance, but José Mourinho is certainly not a fan of his hair.  Manchester United manager  José Mourinho has been impressed with Chris Smalling's recent form, though he is not keen on the centre-back's new haircut.   Smalling scored what proved to be the winning goal in Saturday's 2-1 triumph at Watford, ending hosts' 100 per cent start to the season, even if late pressure meant it was a close shave for United.   Aside from the goal, the defender's display was impressive, as he dealt with Troy Deeney particularly effectively at Vicarage Road, proving to be a cut above the opposition.  But after sporting a new 'do' which appeared to be a combination of cornrows and Bantu knobs, Smalling should not be expecting any style tips from Mourinho.  "He was good. The only thing I don't like from Chris  at the moment is hi

SARRI: 'HAZARD MAY BE BEST IN EUROPE'

Sarri: 'Hazard may be neat in Europe'  An exceptional start to the campaign has led Maurizio Sarri to change his mind as to Eden Hazard's ranking among Europe's best players.  Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri believes Eden Hazard is capable of scoring 40 goals this season after revising his opinion of 'maybe' the finest player in Europe.  The 27-year-old forward was at his most effective on Saturday, scoring three to!es in a come -from-behind 4-1 win over an outclassed Cardiff city.  Hazard's hat-trick boosted his tally to five goals in as many premier league appearances and kept him on track to beat the 23 he netted in all competitions in his final season at Lille.  Sarri admitted that he is now considering whether the world cup's silver ball recipient has surpassed even Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo.  "I thought Hazard was one of the best players in Europe, but now I am changing my mind - may be he is the best." Sarri told reporters.   "

PHIL THOMPSON: "MOURINHO DOESN'T TRUST RASHFORD"

Phil Thompson: "Mourinho doesn't trust Rashford"  Former Liverpool player Phil Thompson believes that Marcus Rashford would get more opportunities to showcase his talents if his manager actually trusted him.  Rashford impressed on England duty as he scored in both of their games in this international break, and put in an all-round impressive display particularly in the game against Switzerland.  The Man Utd product has only started once this season, with his manager opting for Romelu Lukaku in the no. 9 position in the three games since then.  'Rash is a very talented boy, is he going to for in at Manchester United? I don't think so.' The ex-defender told  'Sky Sport'  'I don't think there's a trust from the manager to the player that he can do on a regular basis. That's why he is only coming into the team now and again.'  "He is only 20 years old and he probably needs a little more time and I think this season is a big season

RASHFORD: 'YOU'VE GOT TO DIG IN AND GET THROUGH THE GAME'

Rashford: 'You've got to dig in and get through the game'  Marcus Rashford spoke about how pleases he was to have helped England to a narrow victory over Switzerland on Tuesday.  The 20-year-old Manchester United forward converted from close range to give England a 1-0 victory at the King Power Stadium.   "You've got to dig in and get through the game," said Rashford.  'As always, it is good to win. I think it is good to travel round and good to get the fans out to different stadiums and we always enjoy playing in different stadiums.'  If England had lost, it would have been their fourth consecutive defeat - an all time record. However, luckily Rashford was on hand to help his side avoid such a fate.

MAKELELE: "MOURINHO LOOKS TIRED OF DEALING WITH PLAYERS"

Makelele: "Mourinho looks tired of dealing with players" Former Chelsea midfielder Claude Makelele was very successful under José Mourinho, but believes his former manager looks tired of the challenges the players are presenting him.  Mourinho has come under immense pressure at the beginning of this season especially after consecutive defeats against Brighton and a 3-0 loss to Tottenham at home.  'At Chelsea he had players like me, John Terry, Frank Lampard. Now it different. This generation is not the same.' He told 'The Sun'  'It has made him tired.  He has gone through generation after generation after generation of players.'  'Each one is different and may be he misses the earlier generation. But he still works hard.'

Manchester United can't attack like City and Liverpool-Jose Mourinho

José Mourinho Admits Manchester United Can't Attack Like Manchester City and Liverpool José Mourinho admits Manchester United are unable to replicate Manchester City and Liverpool's attacking threat due to their fragility in defence.  United travel to Burnley on Sunday on the back of two consecutive defeats in the premier league while the pressure continues to mount on Mourinho.  The Portuguese's playing style has been widely criticized but the 55 year of believes his defence needs to be better in order for United's attack to improve.  "We'll try. We are going to try, you know." Said Mourinho.  "It's a process that has risks especially if you make defensive mistakes that breaks that dynamic.  " The teams that are really, really good offensively are the teams that are very, very solid from the back."  Asked if United can play like City or Liverpool, "They play the way they play and we play the way we play. I don't even want to tr

EPL: BURNLEY vs MANCHESTER UNITED TODAY

Burnley vs Manchester United Today  Burnley boss Sean Dyche on his side's European adventure:  "I think I have learnt a lot on and off the pitch, about traveling, organisation, all the things that come with it.  " I think you saw a team who wanted it to carry on by the way, which is important considering how all of you have been saying how nobody wants it.  "But that is a mentality more than anything here - we want to win every game that we play."  Manchester United boss José Mourinho:  I am the manager of one of the greatest clubs  in the world but I am also one of the greatest managers in the world.  "I have won eight titles. I am the only manager to win in Italy, Spain and England. Not small titles, proper titles, and my record last season was one of my greatest achievements in football."  Did you know?  Burnley have only won one of their last 17 top-flight encounters with United, with that victory coming in their  first premier league meeting back
